Ward was born in MonroeLouisianaon April 15,1976. She attended an exclusive Christian elementary school called Monroe Christian School. Ward went to Ouachita high school in the parish for secondary education. After that, she attended River Oaks High School the summer after her senior year. Following graduation, she briefly attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward, then 13, was modeling when she quit the school. Then she moved in New York to pursue this career. She decided to try acting a few years later. The first time she was cast without credit in the late 1970s for the soap opera All My Children. Later she was a part of NBC's short-lived prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. Her role was Meg Cummings, a virgin on Sunset Beach in 1996. She began a career in movies in the role of Brittany Foster the psychotic character from the erotic horror thriller The In Crowd. The film failed to make a profit in the theater, however it had some success on cable and home-video. Ward appeared on screen in Shallow Hal in the year that followed, and was a supporting character. The other roles she has played include numerous direct-to-DVD films and the role of a guest on TV shows, including Friends. The ABC Family Drama series Make It or Break It's main cast for its first two seasons Chloe Kmet played the mother of a young gymnast in the 2009 season. As for her private life, she is married to David C. Robinson. Together they have Cameron.
